I confess that most of my About pages are pretty shitty. I don’t really like writing about myself in a promotional way or even about the work I do. I end up feeling ridiculous but I shouldn’t.
The Network’s About page could use some work, I’ll tell you that.
This post from WPblog, the first on the Network, has helped me focus on what I need to do better. I have a tendency, I know, to always write like I’m writing a personal blog even in a professional context. It’s my natural state, really. I’m not sure that’s the wrong approach but it’s worth thinking about.
