The promotional blocks in this post annoyed the hell out of me. I mean, there’s one right at the top. Anyone arriving at this post via Google would probably be confusing. I was confused.
There’s a useless meme gif two paragraphs in. There’s one small text ad and two GIANT pink advertisements for a free security ebook to get past, as well. And an opportunity to tweet some boilerplate text. Why you would want to tweet something you haven’t even read it yet, I have no idea.
Also, the natural introduction is buried 7 paragraphs down and the first H1 is below that. I really don’t understand the way this blog presents the content. Not for efficient consumption, that’s for sure.
